What distinguishes Lithographic (litho) from digital printing?

In recent times, there’s minimal disparity in quality between these two methods, making it challenging to discern the printing technique used when examining the final product.

● Lithographic printing is cost-effective for larger print runs and accommodates larger sheet sizes, going up to B2.
● Digital printing proves cost-effective for smaller print quantities and is limited to sheet sizes up to A3.

Our sales team will recommend the most suitable method for your needs. However, if you have a preference for litho printing, especially for Pantone colours, please inform our team, and we’ll accommodate your choice.

Are bollard covers resistant to weather conditions?

Certainly, bollard covers are designed to be waterproof, protecting the elements. Additionally, they are printed using UV-safe inks, ensuring that your design remains vibrant for a very long time.

Will I receive a proof before printing?

If you have selected proofing service during check out process, a full print-ready proof will be provided, which must be approved before printing commences.

Can you cut bespoke shapes for prints?

Absolutely, we can cut boards and sheets into any custom shape desired.

What are the accepted payment methods and terms?

Payment methods include Debit/Credit cards or BACS, which are required in full before printing.

Can different artworks be used within a single order quantity?

Yes, there’s no limit to the number of designs that can be included in a single order.

Is there a limit to the number of colours for printing?

No, any number of colours can be printed using the CMYK process.

What is the best way to prepare my artwork for printing?

The artwork should ideally be in PDF format. However, JPEG or TIFF are also acceptable. Ensure your design matches the product’s dimensions and includes a 3mm bleed for accurate printing.

What does 'bleed' mean in the context of printing?

Bleed refers to the area that might be cut off in the printing process. A cutter guide, usually a 3mm overprint, should extend past the final size print to match the shape of the finished product.

What should I check before submitting my artwork?

Before submitting your artwork, ensure correct spelling and grammar, satisfaction with the layout and style, and that it’s saved in the preferred high-resolution PDF format. Verify that all images are 300DPI at print size, fonts are embedded or outlined, and your file includes all necessary elements if it’s a project file. Ensure your artwork is in CMYK mode, includes a 3mm bleed, and spot colours are correctly set up. For multi-page products, arrange artwork in single pages in your PDF.

You can select artwork checking service during the checkout process. We conduct a artwork check, and let you know the status of your artwork quality.
